Printer-friendly version

On the 21st November 2013 National Airport Minsk welcomed the two-million passenger in the current year. The similar impressive result in the airport’s history was reached last only in the Soviet period.

The two-million passenger was anticipated by airport team eagerly and for a long time. The milestone passenger was Irina Ivanovna Kontsevaya, who had the flight № B2-955 Minsk – Moscow (Domodedovo). Deputy Managing Director on Operations Vasily Kornev presented her with a souvenir – laptop and the certificate for free handling at airport VIP-lounge.

− She was a really long-anticipated passenger. And for us, airport staff, it is very symbolic that we overstepped the two-million achievement at 30th anniversary of National Airport Minsk and at 80th anniversary of civil aviation of the Republic of Belarus. –  Vasiliy Kornev noted. – I hope that next year we will increase the number of handled passengers. We are tending to this aim and we don’t stop working at this direction.
