Additional achievement of the main airport of republic became the certificate of correspondence with the international standard OHSAS 18001:2007 «System of management of professional health and labour protection».
According to Special Program of improvement of conditions and labour protection for 2006-2010 accepted by the Department of aviation of the Ministry of transport and communications of Republic of Belarus, in December 2007 the management system of labour protection that was designed according to requirements of international standard OHSAS 18001:2007 was introduced in RUE «Minsk National airport» and in April 2008 certification audit was carried out by «Bureau Veritas Sertification Ukraine Co Ltd».
The management system of professional health and labour protection that satisfies the international standards and successfully mastered by experts of Minsk National Airport, allows to carry out the control of dangerous production factors, to operate risks arising during industrial activity; to prevent occurrence of incidents, failures, supernumerary situations.
Also the system contributes to uninterrupted functioning of the integrated system of management at the enterprise, optimizes the management system and raises image of the airport in the world market of airservices.
