THE TERMINAL

The airport terminal is a unique architectural construction with capacity of 5,8 million passengers per year. It is outfitted with modern technological equipment from THYSSEN-HENSCHEL (Germany), "GALET" and "SIETAM" (France), "BESAM" (Sweden), etc., allowing to handle baggage and passengers quickly and efficiently.

Passengers can be registered according to international standards in five gates. Several gates have the automated system of tickets and baggage registration.

There are duty-free shops and bars in the customs area lounges, passengers of business class are served in business - lounge. Passengers are boarding aircraft through telescopic loading bridges.

CARGO COMPLEX

The cargo a complex total area 2800 sq.m provides handling over 400 tons of cargo per day, including special cargoes like AVI (Audio-Video Interleaved), VAL, DGR and Perishable. Usual and valuable cargoes, the excise goods and biological products can be stored in warehouse.

OUR EQUIPMENT

The runway, 3641 m long and 60 m wide, is equipped with the state-of-the-art lighting (SIEMENS), radio-navigational, meteorological and other systems and meets the ICAO Category II. In other words all the aircrafts used in civil aviation today, can land and take off in any season and almost in any weather.

The ramp is fitted with aircrafts parking stand on which 34 aircrafts can accommodate simultaneously. Furthermore a parking place is provided for handling of such aircraft as АN-124 with MTOW 365 tons.

The air traffic control is provided by highly skilled dispatchers with the ATC system "Synthesis AR2" of automation high level (MONA, SNET, MTSD) meeting EUROCONTROL recommendation, Radio communication is provided with "Roder&Schwartz" equipment.
